A facility in Osaka City's Kita Ward where visitors can experience kendo, one of Japan's martial arts.

Participants receive direct instruction and take part in authentic training led by a kendo practitioner who has won numerous competitions and continues to teach local children.
During the session, participants put on protective armor and learn how to handle a bamboo sword, beginning with basic striking techniques. After practicing swings and other techniques, the experience concludes with a match.
Through an authentic kendo experience, which emphasizes constant respect for one's opponent and begins and ends with a bow, participants can learn about values that the Japanese have cherished since the age of samurai warriors. In addition to practicing kendo, participants learn about its history and connection to the samurai, gaining a deeper understanding of the martial art.

A popular photo service is also available before and after training, allowing participants to dress as samurai, who have a deep connection to kendo.
The experience is available for individuals as well as families and groups of friends.

Sessions are offered Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to noon and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
The experience costs ¥19,800 for adults ages 16 to 75 and ¥16,500 for children ages 5 to 15. Children must be accompanied by at least one adult.
