Sayama Ski Resort

An all-weather ski resort that's easily accessible from Tokyo's city center.

Last update :

Right off Seibu Railway's Seibukyūjō-mae station, this is a 300m long and 30m wide covered all-weather ski resort, conveniently accessible from Tokyo's city center. Regardless of the weather, you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding.

The resort underwent a renewal in 2020, including the installation of two snow escalators of 110m x 1m and 84m x 1m, respectively. With a transportation capacity of up to 3,600 people per hour, these escalators make it easy to reach the summit.

In 2022, the resort introduced new artificial snow machines that can replicate the softness of natural snow, maintaining consistently good conditions.

The Snow Park, perfect for families to enjoy together, hosts events such as a "snow treasure hunt" and "snowball fights" with Sayama Ski Resort's hero "Ranger." The area also includes air-filled athletic equipment, ensuring fun for the whole family.

From December 1st (Friday) to the 23rd (Saturday), the resort operates all night on Fridays and Saturdays, with rentals available. It's possible to arrive at the ski resort empty-handed after the last train and return home on the first train in the morning.
