Yasuoka Kamaboko Headquarters and Factory is located in Uwajima City, Ehime Prefecture. Founded in 1952, this kamaboko factory also features a direct sales corner. It produces and sells jakoten and kamaboko made with locally caught fish from the nearby Uwakai Sea.

The signature product is Uwajima Jakoten, a well-known local specialty. At Yasuoka Kamaboko, it is made mainly from fresh small fish such as hotaru-jako and eso, which are ground into fish paste, shaped into oval patties, and deep-fried. The surface is fragrant and crisp, while the inside is full of rich fish flavor and umami. The shop also sells kamaboko, chikuwa, and jako tsumire. Nearly all products are finished by hand by skilled artisans.

The factory has a free viewing walkway where visitors can watch the production process up close. The facility also offers a jakoten-making experience for a fee with advance reservation required. It is held twice in the morning and once in the afternoon. Participants can make their own original jakoten together with an artisan.
