Kappo Kaede

Kappo Kaede is a Japanese restaurant located Approx. 10 minutes by car from JR Fukaya Station. Here, you can enjoy Fukaya specialties such as niboto and Fukaya green onions. Founded in 1980, the restaurant has stayed true to handmade cooking ever since, preparing everything in-house, including its sauces, soups, and seasonings. It also offers a wide range of dishes made with local vegetables, something unique to vegetable-rich Fukaya City.

Niboto is one of Fukaya’s signature dishes. It features wide, thick noodles and a distinctive soy sauce-based soup with a rich, thick texture. Made with plenty of local vegetables, including Fukaya green onions, it is a dish that lets you savor the bounty of Fukaya. The restaurant also serves Fukaya’s new local specialty, curry yakisoba. Its springy thick curly noodles pair with the punchy flavor of curry powder. In addition to courses for both dishes, there are also gozen set menus and lunch menus, making it ideal for lunch or business entertainment.

The restaurant has banquet halls, private rooms, table seating, and tatami rooms. It can be used for large groups and family gatherings as well. There is also counter seating, so solo diners can feel comfortable too. A free shuttle bus is available only for banquet groups of at least 10 people.
