Kyoryori Matsusho

Founded in 1936 as a catering business in Kyoto City, this long-established traditional restaurant later relocated to Kameoka City and is now run by the fourth generation. Guided by the philosophy of being a restaurant needed by the local community, it continues to operate as both a catering business and a traditional restaurant, just as it did when it first opened.

Here, you can enjoy dishes unique to this restaurant, made with ingredients from nature-rich Kameoka. Seasonal kaiseki meals filled with the best ingredients of the season and chef's omakase courses are available. From November to February only, a game meat course is also offered. The chef, who trained at the renowned Kyoto restaurant Kinobu and has also worked overseas, creates visually stunning dishes with free-thinking ideas and exceptional skill that are sure to satisfy not only your appetite but also your heart.

A variety of seating options are available, including rooms where you can dine while looking out over a Japanese garden, sunken kotatsu seating, and tatami rooms. All are private rooms, so groups and families can relax and enjoy their time at leisure. Choose the room that suits you best.
