A waterfront resort garden woven together by the sea, sky, and greenery.

This park occupies part of Kashima Port, an artificial harbor developed using a cut-in construction method that is rare even by global standards.

The expansive 7.5-hectare grounds are home to Approx. 8,000 subtropical trees, including sago palms and Canary Island date palms, along with a wide variety of seasonal flowers. Surrounded by lush greenery, you can take in views of the harbor busy with ships from around the world and relax in the sea breeze, enjoying a resort-like atmosphere unique to this port setting.

At the center of the park stands a 52-meter-tall observation tower. In winter only, it is lit up at night, creating a magical atmosphere in the surrounding area. The contrast between the symbolic tower rising above the industrial complex at night and the glittering factory night views nearby is well worth seeing. *The observation tower has been closed since December 3, 2020 due to deterioration.

Every May, the park also hosts the Minato Park Exciting Experience Fair, an urban greening festival featuring workshops and food stalls. *The observation tower has been closed since December 3, 2020 due to deterioration.
