Panda Village

Cottage-style accommodations inspired by the world of pandas.

Last update :

Located within Toretore Park, a resort complex centered around one of western Japan's largest seafood markets, this accommodation features hot spring facilities and restaurants. Its 25 dome-shaped cottages, each decorated with a panda face, offer the special experience of staying in a vacation home. Cart transportation from reception to the cottages is available from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with reservations made at check-in, adding to the theme park-like excitement. The following morning, carts are available from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. without reservations. After sunset, carts operate only along the main road.

Each dome has its own name, such as Ribbon-chan or Captain Panda, and features a different exterior and interior design. Every room has a bathtub, toilet, and shower. Various dome types are available to suit different group sizes and travel styles, including Western-style rooms with beds and Japanese-style rooms where futons can be laid out. Specific domes cannot be requested. There is also a wide selection of accommodation plans, including room-only stays, buffet packages, seafood boat platter packages, and sandglass-making experience packages.

An artificial stream runs through the grounds, which also feature an observation deck overlooking the sea. A private park for guests, equipped with slides and other playground equipment, is especially popular with families with young children. The Village Shop sells food and drinks as well as souvenirs such as panda merchandise.
