The nostalgic Tsutenkaku Tower is a top choice for an Osaka trip!

Tsutenkaku Tower is located near Osaka's Shinsekai shopping district. It is one of Osaka's most iconic landmarks and a must-visit attraction for many independent travelers.

The most appealing thing about Tsutenkaku is the retro streetscape filled with Osaka character. There are many takoyaki, kushikatsu, and okonomiyaki restaurants nearby, and the streets are lined with all kinds of brightly colored signs, giving the entire area a lively atmosphere!

Although Tsutenkaku isn't very tall, looking down at the surrounding scenery from the top has a charm all its own!

When traveling to Otaru, Hokkaido, be sure to make time for a visit to Otaru Orgel Doh Main Hall! This is a very famous tourist attraction in Otaru. The nostalgic red-brick building and its classical exterior will make you want to stop and take photos before you even step inside.

As soon as you enter, you'll be greeted by a dazzling array of music boxes, from cute animal designs and dreamy glass music boxes to elaborate carousels and all kinds of cartoon character styles. Every one is incredibly detailed, with so much to see!

Ichiran's most distinctive feature is its original "flavor concentration booths." Everyone has their own little booth, so you can focus on enjoying the ramen in front of you without worrying about the people next to you. It's also a great place to eat when traveling alone. When ordering, you can choose the richness of the broth, the firmness of the noodles, the spice level, and the amount of garlic according to your preferences, creating a bowl of ramen that best suits your taste.

In Tokyo, besides shopping, enjoying great food, and visiting the major attractions, you can also check out this building with its very distinctive design—Tokyo Big Sight! Located in the Ariake area near Odaiba, it is one of Japan's largest international exhibition centers and one of Tokyo's most recognizable landmarks.

The most eye-catching part is the uniquely shaped Conference Tower, which looks like four enormous upside-down pyramids. It has a futuristic feel and is recognizable even from a distance! Just standing in front of the building and taking photos really makes it feel like you've arrived at one of Tokyo's distinctive attractions.

Every time I visit Japan, I can’t resist stopping by UNIQLO. The basics are easy to mix and match, and I can often find items that work well for everyday outfits. UNIQLO in Japan sometimes has different styles or seasonal limited-edition products, so it’s easy to accidentally end up buying a whole bunch while browsing!

Namba Marui is in a very convenient location. After exploring the surrounding Namba shopping area, you can continue on to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori. It’s a great stop to include in a shopping itinerary for an independent trip to Osaka.

When visiting Amanohashidate in northern Kyoto, you definitely shouldn’t miss Kasamatsu Park! It’s one of the best places to enjoy beautiful views of Amanohashidate. You can take a cable car or chairlift up the mountain and enjoy the surrounding natural scenery along the way. The ride itself already makes you feel like you’re on vacation.

Once you reach the top, the view in front of you is truly stunning! Looking down from above, you can see a long, narrow sandbar stretching across the bay. The sandbar is covered with green pine trees, and together with the deep blue water, it creates a very distinctive natural landscape. Amanohashidate is also considered one of Japan’s Three Scenic Views, and it certainly lives up to its reputation!

Toyama Castle is located in central Toyama City, surrounded by the lush greenery of Toyama Castle Ruin Park. The historic-looking castle creates an interesting contrast with the modern cityscape. Even if you're just passing by, it's easy to be drawn to this castle steeped in history.

Toyama Castle, also known as Azumi Castle, dates back to the Sengoku period and was once an important political and military stronghold in the Toyama area. The castle tower seen today is a later reconstruction and houses the Toyama Municipal Folk Museum. Its exhibits cover the history of Toyama Castle, the development of the castle town, and related local historical artifacts, giving visitors a better understanding of Toyama City's past.
