While exploring Tokyo Ramen Street beneath Tokyo Station, I found this distinctive Iekei ramen shop! It was created by an owner whose restaurant has received the Michelin Bib Gourmand three times, blending classic Iekei ramen with a fresh style that made me eager to try it.
The shop is located in the underground area of the station, making it very convenient to get to. It’s also easy to fit into an itinerary of shopping and dining around Tokyo Station. This time, I avoided peak dining hours and was seated without waiting in line, which saved quite a bit of time!
The ramen broth is rich and full-bodied, with the aroma of pork bones hitting you right away, paired with a distinct soy sauce flavor. Every sip captures the classic appeal of Iekei ramen. Although it tastes rich at first, the finish isn’t overly greasy. Instead, it has a refreshing balance that keeps you coming back for more.
If you like rich ramen but worry about it becoming too heavy by the end, add this place to your list! Being able to enjoy delicious ramen right beneath the station is really convenient.
