A Powerful Taiko Performance that Echoes Through Your Body

The Narita Taiko Festival is a grand taiko performance, made up of around 1500 talented performers from 50 groups that gather from across Japan. The festival is held in the area around Chiba Prefecture’s Omotesando Road and in front of Naritasan Shinshoji Temple.

Sengan Hana Daiko

“Sengan Hana Daiko” is the festival’s opening event, in which around 800 people simultaneously perform on their drums.
This event begins at 10:00 on April 13th and 14th, in front of Naritasan Shinshoji Temple.

The event at Naritasan Omotesando’s stage begins at 11:00.

Naritasan Night Drum Concert

When dusk overtakes Naritasan, festivalgoers can enjoy an intense performance in the subtle grace of a nighttime atmosphere.
Scheduled for April 13th, 5 pm ~ 7 pm.
Location: Stage in front of Shinshoji Temple’s main hall.

Taiko Parade

Scheduled for April 14th, 3 pm ~.
Location: Naritasan Omotesando Street (from near Chiba Kogyo Bank to the gates of Naritasan Shinshoji Temple).
