The area around Jindaiji Temple is famous for soba shops and it is said there are close to 20 of them. Yuusui’s popularity always keeps it in the competition for 1st or 2nd place.
Craftsmen make the soba by hand using domestically produced stone milled soba flour.
Yuusui provides the best soba by using the best soba flour from all over Japan each season. Alcohol and snacks such as local beer and sake are also available.
Soba yokan is an excellent treat to bring home as a gift or souvenir.
