Apple’s Latest Store Design, Featuring a 37-Meter-Long Glass Storefront and Enormous 6k Display
Apple Store Shinjuku is Japan’s first adopter of Apple’s newest store design. Located on the 1st floor of the Shinjuku Marui Main Building, just a few minutes’ walk from Shinjuku Station, the store is eye-catching with its 37-meter-long glass storefront that faces the main street. “Shinjuku” is projected on the enormous 6k display inside the store, making a real impression.
Apple products such as iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches are on display and sold in the store’s beautiful and sophisticated space. Wall displays showcase a wide variety of peripherals and accessories, giving the store a clean and open feeling. Furthermore, Apple Store Shinjuku also holds free sessions for art, design, music, photography, and other activities, so trying out Apple products is not the only draw of the store.

I had two very positive experiences at this store when I went to drop off my 2015 Macbook Pro for repairs, and when I went to pick it up. In both cases I was helped by English-speaking staff who gave me their full attention. The repair itself is excellent. I feel like I have a new computer.
It's right in Shinjuku, so the location is super convenient. The store feels bright and has all the signature Apple design elements. There are staff who speak Chinese and explain the products really clearly. The only downside is that it's crowded, so the staff can get a bit overwhelmed.
