Sat atop Mt. Monjuyama, Amanohashidate Viewland offers panaromic views from the south of Amanohashidate. Here you’ll find Matanozokidai, a outlook point nicknamed “Hiryukan” for its views of the Amanohashinodate that looks like a dragon climbing into the heavens. There are 7 different decks to check across the park. From the Hiryukan-Kairo, a 250m-long, 8.5m-tall deck at its tallest, you’ll find full 360-degree panoramic views looking down over Amanohashidate and Miyazu Bay.

Inside the park you’ll find a number of pay-to-ride attractions that kids love, including go-karts and merry-go-rounds. There also a few nature-centric attractions, including the ferris wheel and cycling buggy with amazing views. For adults, you won’t want to miss the chance to try your hand at archery or old-school darts with plenty of retro charm. Many people like to swing by the Wisdom Ring, which you can duck under to try your hand at Kawarage-Nage, a Japanese tradition where you make a wish and through a ceramic dish for good luck. For a relaxing time, there are a number of restaurants with gorgeous views and deck seating underneath the sun-umbrellas.

To get to the summit we recommend the lift or monorail. On the way up you can enjoy the view as the Amanohashidate landbridge comes into view, and on the way down you’ll find unmatched views of the ocean below.
Depending on which season you visit, you may even find cherryblossoms, crepe myrtle and wisteria.
