Minato Mirai 21

JR Sakuragicho Station, Japan’s first train station, is the gate to Minato Mirai. Coming out of the station, you will see a futuristic cityscape such as the 296m-tall Yokohama Landmark Tower and the ferris wheel Cosmo Clock 21. In 2021, the urban 630m-long ropeway, YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN, was opened, connecting the former railway and the Unga-Park Station.

Everywhere around Yokohama Bay, shopping malls, luxury hotels, and art museums are comfortably spaced. The ocean is close and it has lots of green in the open space. Each building is connected inside or via promenades. If you wish to visit, Yamashita Park, Yokohama Chinatown, Motomachi, Yamate and other famous spots are all walkable.

At 273m above the ground, Landmark Tower's 69th observation floor has Sky Garden. You can enter the amusement park, Yokohama Cosmo World, for free (each attraction charges a fee). Retro buildings from Meiji and Taisho Periods are turned into a trendy mall, Yokohama Redbrick Warehouse. There are tons of must-see places here.
