Last update :

The 10,000m² vast garden was created as a symbol of friendship between Tottori and China's Hebei Province. To recreate the Chinese royal garden faithfully, Chinese engineers did from its design to obtaining the supplies.

A group of gorgeous buildings stands against the background of mountains in San-in Region and Lake Togo. Depending on where you stand, you see 28 different impressions. The roofs are made of yellow Ruri (glazed) Tiles which only emperors used in the past. The buildings are decorated with more than 2,000 paintings by Chinese artists.

In the garden, the acrobatic troupe from China performs a show three times a day. There are Chinese language classes, erhu-playing and Tai-Chi workshops, and rental Chinese dresses are available for your strolling in the garden.

The Chinese restaurant Homi-en, Roryuto with Chinese goods and sweets, and even a roadside station are there to help you enjoy gourmet food and souvenir shopping.
