Jef Sunrise Naha

Fast food born in Okinawa, where unique burgers are popular.

Last update :

The founder, Tamio Kina, opened the restaurant in Yonabaru-cho in 1973 as a franchise chain in order to "spread hamburger culture in the southern part of the main island of Okinawa". Later, in 1986, he became an independent company, selling hamburgers and desserts unique to Okinawa and gaining popularity, and currently has three stores.

With a focus on freshly made deliciousness, most menu items are prepared to order and then the cooking process begins. In addition, in accordance with Okinawa, where there is a wide age range of people who use fast food restaurants, from children to the elderly, menus are developed to meet the wishes of various age groups.

The two main signature items are the "Goya Burger," a goya patty made of Okinawan bitter melon with egg and sandwiched between fluffy buns, and the "Nuyaru Burger", a combination of a goya patty and luncheon meat. In addition to burgers, the restaurant offers a variety of side dishes such as "fried chicken" and "bitter melon rings," a special morning set that includes a toast or sandwich and a drink, a hearty hamburger steak set meal, taco rice, and spaghetti. Sweets such as the summer-only brown sugar sherbet zenzai are also popular.
