Cobblestone pathways, tiled roofs, and lattice doors evoke the sensation of a time slip back into Japan's Showa era at this dining district located on the basement floor of the Umeda Sky Building.

The majority of this space is dedicated to eateries. Boasting local Osaka delicacies like okonomiyaki and specialized kushikatsu shops, there's also a katsudon restaurant headquartered in Namba, as well as establishments serving traditional Japanese food, izakayas, shabu-shabu, sushi, and so much more. With around 20 diverse types of eateries, you'll find yourself spoilt for choice.

As you walk the stone-paved streets, you can enjoy the atmospheric town setting complete with hand-operated pump wells, round postboxes, an Inari shrine, and vintage posters. Every nook and corner guarantees a picturesque scene. On display is also the Midget, a three-wheeled vehicle that gained popularity during the high-growth period, offering enjoyment just by wandering around.

Located inside the Umeda Sky Building, known for its modern architectural design, Takimi Koji offers a contrasting retro ambiance. Just strolling around promises new discoveries and delights.
