While in Naha, Okinawa, I made a special trip to explore the First Makishi Public Market. The market has lots of local Okinawan ingredients, seafood, and specialty foods. It was very interesting to look around as I walked, and I could also feel the lively atmosphere of local daily life.

This time, I had some delicious sata andagi at the market. The outside was fried until crisp, with a light fried aroma when I bit into it, while the inside was soft and fluffy. Sprinkled with sugar, it was sweet and delicious.
