Featured!! Kameari Area

The third and last article introduces the area of Katsushika-ku, which is the surrounding area of Kameari Station, located approx. 35 minutes from Tokyo Station. The Kameari Station area, which is famous as the setting of the comic book series 「Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Koen Mae Hashutsujo (This is the police station in front of Kameari Park in Katsushika City)」 or commonly known as 「Kochikame」, has a large shopping area beloved by locals. It is an area of the common people that bustles with the local customers of greengrocers, general stores, delis, eateries and more. Inside the wrap is a dumpling mixed with finely chopped vegetables, pork mince, and a small amount of garlic, which are baked crispy.

⑫ Kameari Minced Cutlet ¥170
Menchi-katsu are a kneaded mixture of ground pork and chopped onion breaded and deepfried. The exterior is crispy and the delicious flavor of the meat spreads forth from the inside.

The shop is specialized in minced cutlets, which we believe that has never seen. Not to mention souvenirs and takeaway menus, the shop has an eat-in space inside.

⑬Ryo-san Monja: portion for 3-4 people ¥1,550.
Monjayaki a dish in which wheat flour is mixed with a generous amount of water, then squid, shrimp, soba noodles and other ingredients are added before the whole thing is fried on an iron plate. It is scraped off the iron plate with a small spatula and eaten on the spot.
