Ashigakubo no Tsurara (Ashigakubo Ice Pillar) is one of the three major icicles in Chichibu. magnificent ice art can be seen from early January to late February every year in Yokoze Town, Saitama Prefecture, and is a popular winter tradition. Water from a stream is poured on the mountain slope and slowly frozen in the natural cold to become an icicle about 200 meters wide and 30 meters high. It is created with great care by the local people and the natural cold.

The multiple layers of icicles wrapped in a magnificent space overwhelm the viewer. In the viewing aisle, you can see the huge icicles on both sides up close.

The highlight of the festival is the "Night Light-up", where icicles are lit up from sunset on Fridays, Sundays and national holidays during the festival period.
