Last update :

This cultural facility with approximately 20,000 books was designed and built by Tadao Ando, a world-renowned architect from Osaka.

The entire walls on the first to third floors are huge bookshelves covered with a variety of book covers. Books are not for checking out, but visitors can read them inside the museum or bring one with them into Nakanoshima Park, where the facility is located. Many visitors sit on benches by the river in the park and read while relaxing.

Books are divided into 12 categories, such as "Let's Play with Nature" and "For Animal Lovers." Picture books, illustrated encyclopedias, literature, cookbooks, art books, and other books are available, with the majority of titles being Japanese with some foreign titles.

Aside from those books, there are many novels, poetry collections, and art books that will pique the interest of even adults. Remember your childhood and pick up a book that interests you to immerse yourself in the world of books.
