Kobe Kitano Hotel

Kobe Kitano Hotel is an auberge in urban which is facing Tor Road in the Ijinkan area of Kitano, Kobe City. Its elegant red-brick building comes with 30 guest rooms, each with a unique and elaborate interior in the English style. The hotel is a member of Relais & Châteaux, a non-profit membership association that only internationally acclaimed hotels and restaurants can join under its strict admission standards.

The general manager and executive chef, Hiroshi Yamaguchi, was trained at the prominent restaurant La Côte d'O in Burgundy, France, and hugely influenced by the celebrated French chef Bernard Loiseau. Loiseau was known for his "cuisine à l'eau" (French cuisine for water), which uses almost no cream or butter. Many called his breakfast "the best breakfast in the world.”

The Kobe Kitano Hotel is the only hotel that Loiseau has allowed to reproduce his "world's best breakfast”. Of course, lunch and dinner menus also reflecti Loiseau’s style, offering dishes that excite all five senses. There are two dining facilities, the French restaurant [ ASH ] and the dining room "Igrek," which non-hotel guests can also book.
