Supervised by :  にこみのたから

A long-established eatery in Osu Shopping Street. Its popular miso nikomi udon has carried on the same flavor for over 60 years since the restaurant first opened in 1964.

The miso nikomi udon comes in several varieties, including tempura, egg, and mochi toppings, and is made by simmering fresh noodles directly in a Hatcho miso-based broth. With its firm, satisfying noodles and rich yet deeply savory soup infused with dashi, it is a traditional dish full of character.

If you like adding rice to the pot or pouring the soup over rice, the "Nikomi Set Meal," which comes with rice and pickles, is recommended. The menu also includes rice bowls such as katsudon and tendon, as well as dishes to enjoy with drinks. You can also have sushi delivered from "Takara Sushi," located in the same shopping street.

Located near Banshoji-dori and Osu Kannon-dori, the busiest streets in the shopping district, it is also easy to stop by after visiting Osu Kannon. The restaurant is regularly closed on Thursdays, but it stays open when a Thursday falls on a national holiday or on the 18th or 28th, when the "Osu Fair" is held.
