Cold weather is perfect for a piping-hot bowl of ramen! After walking in and sitting down, one sip of the hot broth warmed me up instantly〜 The ramen arrived steaming hot, with a wonderful aroma, and it was especially satisfying.

Especially when you run into cold weather like this while traveling, being able to enjoy a warm bowl of ramen really makes you feel so happy! By the time I finished the whole bowl, my entire body had warmed up. It was a simple meal, but it left a lasting impression!

Asakusa Shin Nakamise Shopping Street is really fun to explore.

There are lots of shops, souvenirs, and snacks along the way, especially plenty of delicious food. You can browse as you walk and buy whatever catches your eye, so you definitely won't go hungry.

The whole street is lively and has a real old-town Asakusa atmosphere, making it really feel like you're traveling! Besides visiting Nakamise Street, I also recommend stopping by Shin Nakamise Shopping Street when you're in Asakusa.

The fall foliage at Rurikoin is truly as beautiful as a painting!

The red, orange, and yellow maple leaves reflected on the polished tabletop make the whole scene look like it was carefully painted. Every photo turns out beautiful! Sitting inside and quietly admiring the leaves, it felt like time slowed down. Seeing it in person was truly stunning, and it was one of the most memorable places for fall foliage in Kyoto.

The most eye-catching feature of HEP FIVE in Umeda, Osaka, is the red Ferris wheel on the roof!

You can look up and see it while you're shopping, and it really makes the building stand out as a landmark! Once you're on it, you can look out over downtown Osaka from above—enjoy the city views during the day or the atmospheric lights at night!

If you're shopping in Umeda, I highly recommend stopping by to see this very distinctive Ferris wheel!

The scenery around the Chojabaru Visitor Center is really pleasant, with vast natural landscapes everywhere you look and especially fresh air. It’s a great place to rest and recharge during your trip while enjoying the mountain views along the way.

Inside the visitor center, you can also learn a little about the local natural environment and get information about nearby attractions, which is very convenient for first-time visitors. After driving through Kyushu and enjoying the scenery, stopping here for a walk made the pace of the whole trip slow down as well.

If you’re planning a road trip around Kyushu, Chojabaru is a nice little spot to stop by along the way. Take in the scenery, snap a few photos, and then continue on to your next destination.

This time, I used a J Card souvenir voucher to get HORI’s Yubari melon jelly. The packaging is small and elegant, making it a great souvenir from Hokkaido!

As soon as you open it, there’s a light melon aroma. The jelly is smooth and springy, with a distinct sweet melon flavor. It’s even more refreshing when chilled!

It’s great to bring home as a souvenir or keep for yourself to enjoy little by little〜

This time, I took a red-eye flight to Tokyo. The biggest advantage of a red-eye flight is that you can save a night of accommodations and keep the entire day free for sightseeing and shopping. After arriving in Tokyo, I started the day's itinerary while pulling my luggage along. Although I was a little sleepy, thinking about the places I was going next gradually brought my energy back.

On the way to Ogura to buy matcha this time, I happened to pass by the Nintendo Museum. When I saw the building, I had this exciting feeling of, “So this is where it is!” As someone who grew up playing Nintendo games, passing by this place felt especially familiar.

Although I was only passing by this time and hadn’t planned to go inside, just seeing the museum building brought back memories of playing the Famicom and Game Boy. It instantly felt like I was back in my childhood.

I was in a hurry on this trip, so I could only stop by and take some photos. It was a nice little unexpected part of the trip. If I have a chance to visit Kyoto again, I’d like to set aside time to explore the museum and learn about Nintendo’s history and how it developed into what it is today!

When we arrived in Jozankei Onsen, unfortunately it was already nighttime by the time we reached the hotel, and most of the shops were closed, so we didn't get a chance to explore properly.

Although we missed the lively daytime streets and unique shops, Jozankei at night had its own peaceful atmosphere. There weren't many pedestrians, and everything was much quieter, which made it easier to appreciate the laid-back, relaxing feel of the hot spring town.

Jozankei is located on the outskirts of Sapporo, surrounded by forests and river valleys, and is a well-known hot spring destination in Hokkaido.

Standing high above in the sea breeze, looking at the deep blue ocean blending with the city of Atami, felt completely different from walking through the streets. The sunlight sparkling on the water made the view especially pleasant.

Atami itself is a hot spring town nestled between the mountains and the sea, and from this perspective, you can appreciate its unique terrain even more. It’s no wonder so many people choose to come here to soak in the hot springs, look out at the ocean, and enjoy a relaxing vacation.

This time I only stopped briefly to enjoy the scenery, but it felt well worth it. If I have the chance to visit Atami again, I hope to stay overnight, enjoy a good soak in the hot springs, and watch the sunset in Atami.
