Jingisukan Daruma Main Branch is a famous jingisukan lamb restaurant in Sapporo, and it has always been very popular. The atmosphere is lively, and the aroma of grilled lamb whets your appetite as soon as it arrives at the table. The lamb is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside after grilling, with a subtle charcoal aroma, and it goes really well with onions. A piping-hot jingisukan meal is a must when visiting Sapporo, so I’ve checked another item off my Hokkaido food list this time!

While in Nara, I made a special trip to the Nara main store of Kakinoha Sushi Tanaka to try this traditional food that is so characteristic of Nara. The most distinctive thing about kakinoha sushi is that the sushi is wrapped in persimmon leaves, giving it an old-fashioned look.

After unwrapping the persimmon leaf, you can smell a faint, fresh plant fragrance. The leaf wrapped around the sushi gives the rice and fish a natural aroma, adding a very distinctive flavor. The rice has a slightly tart taste, and together with the fish, it's refreshing and not too heavy.

Besides seeing the deer on this trip to Nara, I also came specifically to try this local food. It was really interesting to travel while learning about Nara's traditional food culture! I'd like to have it again the next time I visit Nara.

You definitely have to check out the very distinctive Oasis 21 when visiting Nagoya! The biggest attraction is the huge glass roof above, called the “Spaceship-Aqua.” From a distance, it looks like a spaceship floating over the city, and the design is really unique.

After it's lit up at night, it becomes a completely different scene. The transparent glass walkway and city lights go beautifully together, and you can enjoy the surrounding night view as you walk along it. The atmosphere is very beautiful.

Besides shopping and enjoying good food on this trip to Nagoya, I also stopped by Oasis 21 to walk around and take some photos.

On a trip to Sapporo, of course you have to make time to browse a drugstore! This time I visited SATUDORA, and it really had a wide variety of products, including common medicines, health products, daily necessities, and beauty products. Browsing the store felt like a treasure hunt.

As I walked around, I found quite a few things I wanted to buy, especially medicines and household items I normally use. Stocking up on everything during a trip to Japan was really satisfying.

I planned a trip on the Mt. Moiwa Ropeway while in Sapporo. As the cable car slowly made its way up the mountain, the scenery along the way became more and more expansive. As we climbed higher, downtown Sapporo gradually came into view, and the ride itself filled me with anticipation.

After arriving at the observation deck, I looked out over downtown Sapporo from above, with the entire cityscape spread out before me. At night, the lights came on one by one, and the view from the mountain was especially beautiful. I couldn't stop taking photos to remember it by.

I went to Mt. Moiwa in Sapporo to see the night view, and I was truly captivated by the scenery before me! As the cable car made its way up the mountain and gradually climbed higher, the lights of downtown Sapporo slowly came into view.

Once I reached the observation deck, I saw a whole cityscape sparkling with lights that stretched into the distance. Together with the darkness of the mountain at night, the entire scene was very romantic. Standing high up in the cold wind, I still couldn't bring myself to leave.

We came to Yakitori Tetchan for some grilled skewers. The whole place has the atmosphere of a Japanese izakaya, and once we sat down, we just kept eating skewer after skewer. It was really satisfying!

The skewers were fragrant and delicious, with a lightly charred exterior and tender meat. They were so tasty with the sauce. Every skewer had a wonderful charcoal-grilled aroma, and the more we ate, the harder it was to stop.

Overall, everything was really delicious, and it was one of the most memorable meals of the trip.

Daibutsu Pudding is something you definitely shouldn't miss in Nara! This time, I tried MAHOROBA's Daibutsu Pudding, and from the first bite, I thought it was so delicious. The pudding was smooth and creamy, with a rich egg and milk flavor, and just the right amount of sweetness.

I especially loved its delicate, silky texture. Eating it with the caramel at the bottom made the sweet flavor even richer, and I couldn't help taking bite after bite. It was gone in no time!

The bottle with the Great Buddha design is also really cute, and you can keep it as a souvenir after finishing the pudding.

A trip to Okinawa wouldn’t be complete without shopping for souvenirs! This time, we visited AEON MALL Okinawa Rycom. It’s very spacious and easy to explore, with a wide selection of products and souvenirs.

We stopped by during a break in our itinerary to stock up. When I saw some souvenirs I liked, I couldn’t resist buying a few to take home. Thinking about sharing them with family and friends made me especially happy.

You can shop, eat, and buy souvenirs all in one place, so it’s really convenient for travelers who want to do some last-minute shopping! The next time I visit Okinawa, I’d like to set aside time to explore the whole mall.

Odori Park at night looks completely different from how it does during the day! As the lights came on one by one, the entire park looked especially beautiful. Walking along the streets at night felt really romantic.

From a distance, the Sapporo TV Tower and the surrounding lights blended together with the nighttime cityscape, making every photo look great. Even just taking a walk felt especially pleasant.

Although Hokkaido nights are a little cold, the lights were so beautiful that I couldn’t help staying a while longer to really take in the atmosphere of Sapporo at night.
