While in the Shuri area of Okinawa, I made a special trip to the Shuri Kinjo-cho Stone Paved Path. This old stone-paved road has a strong sense of history, and along the way you can experience the atmosphere of traditional Okinawan streets. It's very different from typical tourist attractions.

But after actually walking it, I realized that the stone path is much longer than I had imagined. The surface is uneven, and some sections are sloped, so it's actually quite tiring to walk. Wearing comfortable walking shoes is really important, or your feet will start to ache after a while.

Zanpa Misaki

Zanpa Misaki is a stunning cape located in Yomitan Village, central Okinawa. Stretching approximately 2 km along the East China Sea, its towering 30-meter cliffs create a dramatic landscape where waves crash against the rugged rocks, sending white sprays into the air.

What attracted me most to Zanpa Misaki in Okinawa was the pure white lighthouse standing by the coast! Zanpa Misaki Lighthouse is one of the few lighthouses on Okinawa’s main island that you can climb to the top for a view. Its white exterior against the deep blue sea is truly beautiful!

Walking along the cape, you can see the spectacular cliffs, and the sea breeze feels very pleasant. Looking out toward the ocean from near the lighthouse, the view is incredibly expansive. When the weather is nice, it’s a great place to take photos.

If you have enough time and energy, you can also climb the lighthouse for a view from higher up, but since we had children with us, we didn’t go up. What a shame!
Cape Hedo

Located within Yanbaru National Park, Cape Hedo marks the northernmost point of Okinawa’s main island. Brandished in the full drama of uplifted coral cliffs, a wild and rugged atmosphere unveils while facing out to the open ocean between the Pacific and East China Sea. The area is well-maintained as Cape Hedo Park, with walking trails and scenic observation decks.

At Cape Hedo in northern Okinawa, the moment I saw the ocean in front of me, I couldn't help but stop to take pictures! The deep blue water paired with the dramatic coastline was incredibly beautiful, and when the weather is good, it's so gorgeous that you won't want to leave!

Looking out from the cape, you can feel the vastness of the sea and sky merging into one, and the ocean breeze blowing against your face feels especially pleasant. It's not as busy as attractions in the city and instead has a more natural, peaceful atmosphere.
SAN-A Urasoe West Coast PARCO CITY

Jointly operated by PARCO, which runs fashion buildings across Japan, and SAN-A, a supermarket chain in Okinawa, SAN-A Urasoe West Coast PARCO CITY is housed in a six-story building, with its 1st to 3rd floors serving as a commercial area. Boasting 78,000 square meters of retail space, it stands as one of the largest shopping facilities in the Okinawa region.

While shopping at SAN-A Urasoe West Coast PARCO CITY in Okinawa, I unexpectedly found a pet store on the basement floor. I was originally just browsing around, but when I saw the puppies inside, their cuteness instantly made me stop in my tracks!

Every puppy was so adorable. Some quietly watched people, while others ran around energetically. Just watching them through the glass felt so soothing. Especially when I saw their cute little faces, I couldn't help standing there and watching them.
