Nakamura Tokichi Ginza Store

Founded in the first year of Ansei (1854), "Nakamura Tokichi Honten," a Japanese tea specialty store based in Uji, Kyoto, opened its first store in Tokyo, located in the largest shopping mall in the Ginza district, "GINZA SIX." Popular among shoppers, daters, and tourists from both Japan and abroad, the store is always bustling with a line of customers. Upon entering through the "Maruto" noren (shop curtain) and taking a seat, guests are served a seasonally selected welcome tea, offering a moment of relaxation.

The "Namacha Jelly [Fukamidori]" is an all-time favorite, with its vivid and beautiful matcha color, moist and smooth texture, and a rich concentration of the finest matcha's umami and bitterness. The Ginza store's exclusive set, which includes rich matcha ice cream topped with matcha sweet bean paste, black beans, and candied chestnuts, is a must-try. Another exclusive item only available here is the "Bessei Maruto Parfait," made with the highest quality matcha, known for its delicate sweetness, umami, and elegant aroma.
