This Yoshoku restaurant was founded in 1895.
The restaurant is said to be the restaurant that first created popular yoshoku dishes such as Omurice and kaki fry (fried oysters).
While Omurice is generally prepared by wrapping the ketchup-flavored rice in egg, at Rengatei, the egg, rice and ingredients are mixed together and then fried. The signature dish is a fluffy, delicious omurice.
