Mejiro Garden

A Japanese Garden Centered Around a Pond that Changes from Season to Season.

3.58 1

Last update :

Nestled in the quiet residential area of Mejiro, this is a full-fledged Japanese garden, designed in the style of a pond strolling garden, with paths that wind around a central pond.

The garden includes structures such as "Sekicho-an," a teahouse in the traditional sukiya style, and a hexagonal floating gazebo. In autumn, the fall foliage combined with these structures creates a quintessentially Japanese autumn landscape.

From late November to early December, during the fall foliage season, the garden is also lit up at night. The reflection of the autumn leaves in the pond adds an even more fantastical atmosphere.
