A park with a live stage showcasing the arts and cultural events
Ikebukuro Nishiguchi Park, nicknamed “GLOBAL RING” is located just a 2 min. walk from Ikebukuro Station. With a large 3x11-meter LED screen and performance stage, this is a common spot to showcase a wide range of arts and cultural performances including classical music concerts and dance.
Above the stage stands the GLOBAL RING, a monument made of 5 stacked overhead rings that are furnished with LED lights and complete sound system.
The large screen, music, fountain and lights are all synched to play together, making for a spectacular viewing experience.
There’s also a periodic clock program that sounds off differently depending on the hour, weather, temperature, humidity and more.
