At Cape Hedo in northern Okinawa, the moment I saw the ocean in front of me, I couldn't help but stop to take pictures! The deep blue water paired with the dramatic coastline was incredibly beautiful, and when the weather is good, it's so gorgeous that you won't want to leave!

Looking out from the cape, you can feel the vastness of the sea and sky merging into one, and the ocean breeze blowing against your face feels especially pleasant. It's not as busy as attractions in the city and instead has a more natural, peaceful atmosphere.

While in the Shuri area of Okinawa, I made a special trip to the Shuri Kinjo-cho Stone Paved Path. This old stone-paved road has a strong sense of history, and along the way you can experience the atmosphere of traditional Okinawan streets. It's very different from typical tourist attractions.

But after actually walking it, I realized that the stone path is much longer than I had imagined. The surface is uneven, and some sections are sloped, so it's actually quite tiring to walk. Wearing comfortable walking shoes is really important, or your feet will start to ache after a while.

While shopping at SAN-A Urasoe West Coast PARCO CITY in Okinawa, I unexpectedly found a pet store on the basement floor. I was originally just browsing around, but when I saw the puppies inside, their cuteness instantly made me stop in my tracks!

Every puppy was so adorable. Some quietly watched people, while others ran around energetically. Just watching them through the glass felt so soothing. Especially when I saw their cute little faces, I couldn't help standing there and watching them.

A great spot for taking photos. The spacious green grounds, historic temple, and towering Tokyo Tower create a classic Tokyo view.

From different angles, you can capture Zojoji Temple and Tokyo Tower in the same frame. The vermilion Zojoji Temple and orange-red Tokyo Tower complement each other, with blue skies and greenery in the background. The view feels both historic and full of Tokyo's unique urban atmosphere.

I really like the relaxed, open feel of Tokyo Metropolitan Shiba Park. Tokyo Tower also lights up in the evening, and it's quite beautiful!

Himeji Castle is also known as the “White Heron Castle” because its elegant white walls and roof tiles are as beautiful as a white heron spreading its wings.

From a distance, Himeji Castle’s towering main keep looks truly imposing. Its white exterior shines in the sunlight, while the layered eaves and intricate castle design immediately convey its grandeur and sense of history. As you slowly walk along the paths inside the castle, passing through gates, stone walls, and gardens, you can enjoy a different view of Himeji Castle from every angle. It looks great in every photo!

I hope I can visit next time during cherry blossom season!

The romantic Meguro River cherry blossoms in spring! Every cherry blossom season, the blooming trees along both banks of the Meguro River attract many people who come to stroll and enjoy the flowers. The sea of pale pink blossoms blends with the Tokyo streetscape, creating an enchanting spring atmosphere.

As you slowly walk along the riverbank, the branches of the cherry trees on both sides stretch out over the water, with the blossoms forming a canopy overhead. When a gentle breeze blows, the petals softly drift down onto the river and walkway, making the entire scene romantic and dreamy.

Romantic nighttime cherry blossom viewing at Otonashi Shinsui Park! The park is peaceful and comfortable during the day, but after dark, the illuminated cherry blossoms take on an even more dreamlike atmosphere, attracting many people who come specifically for a walk and to enjoy the flowers.

As you stroll along the waterside path, the cherry blossoms on both sides sway gently in the night. Soft lights illuminate the pale pink petals, while reflections of cherry blossom colors shimmer on the water, making the whole scene quiet and romantic. When a gentle breeze passes through, petals drift down on the wind. Walking among them feels like being inside a cherry blossom tunnel, and the atmosphere is very charming.

I really like the nighttime atmosphere at Otonashi Shinsui Park. It isn't as noisy as popular cherry blossom viewing spots, making it feel more relaxed and peaceful. Strolling along the riverbank, admiring the reflections of the cherry blossoms at night, and occasionally stopping to take photos—every angle has a distinctly Japanese springtime feel!

When visiting Hida Takayama, besides exploring the old streets and eating Hida beef, you shouldn't miss the extremely popular CENTER4 HAMBURGERS! The small restaurant has plenty of character and is always popular, with many people making a special trip just to visit.

The burger has a distinct meaty aroma and a satisfyingly substantial bite. Paired with cheese, onions, and sauce, it has a savory flavor with a touch of sweetness, giving the overall taste plenty of depth.

It's a great meal to include when visiting Takayama's old town!

In Little Edo Kawagoe, I made a special trip to visit the century-old Hayashiya Main Store! The charm of a long-established restaurant really is different. The building itself is full of history, and walking along Kawagoe's old-fashioned streets makes you feel as if you've traveled back in time.

Being able to enjoy traditional Japanese food in a century-old restaurant is really appealing to food lovers. It's no wonder that many foodies make a special stop here when visiting Kawagoe—not only for the food, but also to experience flavors that have been passed down for a century.

After exploring Kawagoe's old warehouse district, stopping here for a meal makes for a perfect itinerary! If you don't know what to eat in Kawagoe, this century-old restaurant is definitely one to add to your list and a must for foodies!

I also highly recommend exploring Togoshi Ginza Shopping Street in Tokyo. The whole street has a strong local, everyday feel. It isn't as rushed as a tourist attraction, so you can take your time walking around and experience the atmosphere of daily life for Tokyo residents.

There are plenty of good restaurants, dessert shops, general stores, and other unique businesses along the way. Whenever you see something you like, you can stop to browse or buy a little something to eat. The whole pace is very relaxed. I prefer this kind of lively neighborhood shopping street to a large shopping mall.
