Last update :

Tempura Restaurant Hisago first opened in 1918. When you place your order, the chef carefully fries the tempura for you piece by piece. They use only the highest-quality sesame oil from Mie Prefecture, and the sesame aroma, light texture, and refreshing aftertaste creates a winning combination.
The restaurant’s signature dish, “yokozuna ten-don,” is so packed to the brim with delicious food that the tempura-fried shrimp and anago eel is practically overflowing from the bowl.
Located in the “Ryogoku Edo NOREN” building complex, the restaurant offers a view of the old Edo townscape as well as the sumo arena.

Highlights

  • Enjoy authentic tempura from an established restaurant at a reasonable price.
  • Sumo arena is located in front of the restaurant.
