Wadakura Fountain Park
A city oasis offering solace with a fountain and abundant greenery
This park with a fountain at its center was constructed to commemorate the marriage of His Majesty the Emperor in 1961.
The artistic water fountain has a waterfall 5.5 meters high and 30 meters in width, and it is used by many people as a city oasis.
You can enjoy a beautiful and romantic sight when the fountain lights up at night.
At the free rest area, there is a glass-sided facility with a liberating feeling, and you can look out over the fountain and the landscape spread out with greenery. Also, there are items on display related to the Imperial Palace, as well as information on display about the park, nature, and notable spots.
The adjacent restaurant looks like an opera house, and you can enjoy meals and tea inside under the high ceiling brimming with a sense of spaciousness.
