Announcing the arrival of winter to the streets of Roppongi is "Roppongi Hills Christmas". At the "Keyakizaka Illumination", the tree-lined avenue of Keyakizaka, stretching about 400 meters, is adorned with approximately 800,000 LEDs. Bathed in the light themed "SNOW & BLUE", the ambiance feels as though one has stepped into a fantastical silvery realm.
There are numerous recommended photo spots along Keyakizaka Street. From the vicinity of Tiffany & Co. and Roppongi Tsutaya Books, you can capture the entire illumination from both the top and bottom of the slope. Taking splendid photos is also possible from in front of TV Asahi or Giorgio Armani, so do give it a try!
Every year on the first day, a lighting ceremony is held with special guests. Concurrently, within the Roppongi Hills facility at "66 Plaza", the "Luminous Bouquet" event takes place. With the introduction of colorful desserts at various restaurants and a Christmas market being held, a variety of events are planned, making it a recommendation to tour around the area.
