Roppongi Hills’ concept is “Cultural Center of the City.” This art museum has an important role as a place for people to share the culture of the era.

World’s radical arts, architectures, and designs are selected upon their original viewpoints into a variety of exhibitions. Besides special exhibitions, there are programs such as MAM Collection with their permanent collections, MAM Screen with filmed work, MAM Research with document exhibition, and MAM Project where experimental projects are conducted with global artists. During an exhibition, there is no closing day and stays open until late at night.
