Union, located near the center of the Kappabashi Dougu Street, which is home to shops specializing in food-related products such as tableware, utensils and food ingredients, is a coffee shop that is irresistible to coffee lovers which was established in 1962 and specializes in coffee-making supplies.

The shop features a wide range of coffee-making equipment, from original roasters and coffee mills to siphons, drippers and espresso machines, from home-use items to specialist products chosen by professionals. There is also a wide range of cups and pots, so you can find almost everything you need for coffee and tea in this shop alone. Bar goods such as cocktail shakers and sommelier knives, as well as pasta machines, are also well stocked.

Once you have all the equipment, head to the affiliated shop across the intersection, the World Coffee Union. It offers about 40 varieties of coffee beans from around the world that can be roasted to your favorite roast, as well as about 10 blended coffee varieties. A wide range of teas and Chinese teas are also available.
