Established in 1885 (Meiji 18), this long-standing tempura restaurant started as a small street stall in Ginza 3-chome. Despite being located in the Ginza area, where renowned tempura restaurants abound, it remains a popular establishment often accompanied by queues.

Ginza Tenkuni relocated to its current location in 2020. With a storefront on the 1st floor, it offers traditional Edomae tendon (tempura rice bowl), tempura, and set menus. Additionally, within the same building, affiliated stores have opened, providing a variety of dining experiences tailored to different scenes and purposes: "Ginza Tenkuni Shiori" on the 2nd floor offers a counter style where guests can enjoy freshly fried tempura prepared right in front of them by skilled chefs, and "Washoku Yuzutsu" on the 3rd floor features a wide selection of Japanese cuisine using seasonal ingredients.

The tempura here is characterized by its Edomae style, where the batter, containing egg, is fried in sesame oil to achieve a crispy exterior and a fluffy interior. The tendon, made with carefully selected ingredients and dipped in a special sauce, is renowned for its rich yet light flavor, attracting many fans. Another highlight on the menu is the "Kakiage," a densely packed tempura fritter, which is tenderly and fluffily fried by the skilled hands of the artisans. Be sure to savor the taste of tradition that has been cherished for over a century.
